"Karmen has been coloring and cutting my hair for almost a year now and I could not be happier with the outcome. I have visited my share of salons and have struggled to find someone who can work with curly hair. Karmen has given me the best cut I have had in years! She really listens to my input and does a fantastic job of interpreting what I ask for. Karmen is very personable and professional and she takes the time needed to do a good job. I never feel rushed during my appointments. The salon is nicely decorated, very clean and has a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. It is conveniently located off the 210 freeway. The salon hours are very flexible - I have been more than favorably impressed with how accomodating they have been with last minute and late afternoon appointments. "I recently moved out here from Texas and didn't know where to go for a haircut as I had been going to the same place for almost 10 yrs. I went to a couple of Super Cuts and local establishments in Glendale and really wasn't too satisfied with the quality of cut based on the amount I was charged. Then I heard about Alec Xander's place and decided to make the drive out to East Pasadena. The trip was totally worth it. The service was way above what I expected, the establishment very well maintained, and I was happy with my cut.
